National Park Quilts specializes in historic images of national parks and monuments printed on cloth for quilters. The antique images are from the collection of Susan and Jack Davis. There are more than 800 sets and 4,000 single quilt blocks offered for sale on this web site and more are being added as time allows. Quilt blocks are available in different sizes and in sets. All sets include a free pattern for a variety of quilted items such as wall hangings, tote bags, table runners, hot pads, ornaments, pillows, and fabric postcards.
Susan Davis, owner of Olde American Antiques and iVintageImages, has created a series of original quilt block designs to pay tribute to the National Park Service Centennial 1916-2016. These are the first quilt blocks created specifically for the National Park Service. Each of these designs is unique with a distinct color combination, the name and nickname of the park, and a matching border to enhance the overall design. The style is American Arts and Crafts.
National Park Quilts has quilt blocks and quilt block sets for more than 50 National Park Service locations. There are also national park maps printed on cloth. Quilted maps are an attractive way to display collectible pins and buttons.
The National Park Service will celebrate its Centennial anniversary in 2016. We will be adding more quilt blocks to celebrate this event between now and the end of the year. This is an appropriate time to create a unique and special quilt of National Park Service locations. Choose quilt blocks from your favorite national parks and monuments to help celebrate the upcoming National Park Service Centennial.
